Bottes camarguaises naturelle
Camargue boots were originally designed for the gardians who roamed the vast marshes.
Made in the South of France, with ancestral know-how, by a historic French factory specialized in the creation of leather boots.
Description
These Camargue boots, unchanged for generations, are icons of robustness and tradition. Over the decades, these boots have stood the test of time. The traditional Camargue boot has become a truly rural and timeless boot.
These boots have been adapted for contemporary use: the original height has been reduced to a third, to make them easier to wear.
The highly resistant leather ensures exceptional wear over time.
Camargue boots in full-grain calf leather
The factory calls on a French tanner who uses only thick Aveyron calfskin. This thickness prevents the leather from slouching and the straps from stretching. The leather has been retanned with hot fat using the same process for 6 generations. This method of tanning gives the leather great suppleness, with very little hardening to prevent cracking.
These boots are water-resistant thanks to their deeply nourished leather.
