Copper pandoro mould
Copper and tin-platedpandoro mold . Unique piece made in Italy.
Description
Manufactured according to ancestral techniques in the Naples region, the historic birthplace of Italy's greatest master-coppersmiths, this copper mold pays tribute to a rare savoir-faire handed down from generation to generation. Each piece is shaped by hand, then hot-tinned, making it perfectly suitable for firing. This mold is ideal for making the perfect pandoro.
Thanks to its thick copper wall, heat is diffused quickly and evenly, an indispensable asset for delicate preparations such as sponge cakes, entremets or flans. This noble material has been appreciated for centuries for its incomparable thermal properties.
Instructions for use and care
This pandoro mold is specially designed for oven baking, with its tinned interior compatible with food preparations. Do not use over a flame or direct heat source. To facilitate removal of the cake after baking, it's best to butter the mold and dust it with flour.
After use, wash the mold by hand with lukewarm water and a non-abrasive sponge. Avoid aggressive products or scouring pads which could damage the surface. Be sure to dry immediately to avoid rust or moisture marks.
Over time, copper will take on a natural patina - a perfectly normal phenomenon that affects neither the mold's performance nor its use. If you wish to revive its shine, a cleaning product suitable for copper will do the trick.
