Opinel n°12 notched Sandvik blade
The 12 labors of Hercules, the 12 strokes of midnight, the 12 months of the year ... is it really necessary to demonstrate that 12 is an indispensable?
At home or away, in the country or in the city, Opinel's notched n°12 will quickly become a staple in your pocket.
Description
This Opinel knife features a 12 cm serrated Yatagan blade (inspired by Turkish swords) in Sandvik stainless steel (a European material renowned for its corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical performance) designed to cope with hard materials such as ceramics, while requiring little maintenance under normal conditions of use.
The handle, made from French beech, is hard, resistant and pleasant to hold.
Light in color, ranging from yellow to pinkish, the wood is varnished to protect it from moisture and dirt, while retaining its natural beauty.
For optimum safety, this knife is equipped with the Virobloc safety ring, invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955; this ingenious system, consisting of a fixed and a sliding part, enables the blade to be locked in the open position for use, or in the closed position for transport, making it an excellent companion for picnics and other walks in the forest.
Simple to use and robust, this folding knife is perfect for slicing bread and large fruits and vegetables, combining tradition and practicality with elegance.
Recommendations for use:
Avoid prolonged contact with aggressive environments (acids, salt water, etc.) which could reduce its durability.
