Espadrilles de Mauléon Red

At Mauléon, espadrille is not a fashion statement, but a craft. Each pair is made according to a tradition handed down since the 19th century. The cotton canvas is cut by hand, and the jute sole is mounted and molded by hand, before being reinforced with vulcanized rubber for better hold.

What sets this production apart is the edge stitching, a technique typical of the region, which offers support, durability and comfort.
