Description
This so-called"catering" kettle takes its name from its primary vocation: cooking in large quantities. Enamelled steel combines the robustness of metal with the protection of enamel, a technique mastered since the 19th century. Its high-walled cylindrical profile optimizes capacity while preserving evaporation, while the flat bottom ensures good heat distribution.
The enamel is resistant to thermal shock and repeated handling. The black enamelled interior offers a neutral surface that preserves flavours and reveals the coloration of cooking bases, making it easy to monitor simmering. The dark coating is non-marking and easy to clean.
Two sizes are available to suit your needs: 22 cm for 4.75 liters, suitable for four people, or 26 cm for 8.2 liters when the table expands. Compatible with all burners , including induction (taking care never to exceed two-thirds power to preserve the enamel), this pot adapts to modern constraints. Its lid maintains the humidity required for long braising.
