Opinel stainless steel key ring

This key-ring knife from Opinel, the century-old Savoyard cutlery maker, features a stainless steel blade with a hardness of 55-57 HRC.

The low-maintenance Yatagan-type blade offers excellent sharpness and abrasion resistance, withstanding regular contact with hard materials (such as ceramics) before requiring resharpening.

The knife's handle is made of beech, a hard and resistant wood, and has been varnished for better protection against humidity. It has a light color with many characteristic dark veins.

Both the stainless steel and the beech wood are sourced from European and French farms.

Opinel knives below N°06 do not have a safety ring.

N° 04: 5 cm blade, 6.5 cm handle.
