Terre de Sommières 400g

Terre de Sommières, a natural clay with exceptional absorbency, was discovered in the 19th century in the village of Sommières, near Montpellier.

Sourced from quarries in the Mediterranean basin, this clay is environmentally friendly, as it is untreated, unrefined and therefore non-toxic.

Thanks to its extra-fine texture, Terre de Sommières is a particularly effective dry stain remover, capable of removing greasy stains from a wide variety of surfaces: carpets, leather, marble, parquet, as well as delicate textiles such as silk.

By absorbing up to 80% of its weight in moisture, it also neutralizes other types of stubborn stains, such as urine on cushions or wine spills on tablecloths, all without leaving streaks or rings.

This absorbent property also makes it effective against insects of all kinds, including bedbugs.

Presented in cardboard packaging with a practical dispenser, it is also distinguished by its physico-chemical characteristics: a pH between 7.5 and 9.5 and a density of 2.1 g/cm³ at 20°C.
