Soap to make your own ecological laundry:

Nothing could be easier than Marseille soap shavings to create your homemade liquid soap for laundry!

Mix Marseille soap shavings with olive oil and a base of white vinegar and water to obtain a naturally hypoallergenic detergent, without palm oil or perfume! Marseille soap is a good stain remover and is particularly effective for washing delicate laundry.

This mixture can also be used to degrease your floors and various surfaces at home.

The recipe of the laundry soap of Marseille:

Dilute 20g of shavings in 1L of very hot water and stir until a gel is obtained, the lye is ready to use. Store in an appropriate bottle and shake well before each use.

• Hand washing: dilute 50ml of previously prepared chip lye for 5L of water.
• Machine wash: use 75ml of chip lye for 5kg of laundry. Double the dose for very dirty laundry. Apply directly on a stain before washing. For an optimal use, regularly descale your machine with a glass of white vinegar to be poured in the softener tank.

With time and depending on its exposure to light and humidity, the soap may undergo color variations and lose its mass, but it will still be effective.
