Espadrilles de Mauléon Khaki Green

In Mauléon, in the heart of the Basque Country, the espadrille is more than just a shoe: it's a local savoir-faire handed down for over two centuries.

It all begins with the hand-cutting of cotton canvas, folded into a mattress and then saw-cut to a precise pattern. This canvas is then assembled with a jute rope sole, itself molded by hand. A thin layer of rubber is vulcanized directly onto the sole to guarantee strength.

Each pair is finished with the signature Mauléon edge stitching, which reinforces the shoe's hold while providing a pleasantly supple feel. Rigorous craftsmanship, faithful to the original techniques, keeps the tradition alive.
