Opinel No. 9 Red Ocean

TheOpinel No. 09 Océan Rouge is a pocket knife designed for sailors and sailing enthusiasts, inspired by maritime safety standards.

Its 9-cm semi-serrated, corrosion-resistant blade features a built-in shackle opener for quickly releasing under-tension shackles.
The sturdy polyamide handle houses a hardened steel rope splitter for working with, untangling, or parting ropes, as well as a 110 dB whistle that meets maritime safety requirements and can be used in emergency situations at sea.

A cord loop at the end of the handle allows it to be easily attached to a bag, belt, or piece of equipment.

Made in France by Opinel, a Savoyard manufacturer whose expertise in cutlery dates back to 1890.
