Douk Douk chromé
The genuine "DOUK-DOUK" pocket knife in a stainless steel version for everyday use.
Description
The Douk-Douk knife is an icon of French cutlery history, dating back to 1929. Created by Gaston Cognet in the town of Thiers, renowned for its cutlery tradition, this folding knife was initially destined for Oceania and North Africa. Its name and distinctive design are inspired by the deity of Kanak culture in New Caledonia, illustrated by an engraving on its metal handle.
The Douk-Douk has become famous for its simplicity, sturdiness and reliable mechanism. It consists of a single piece of steel bent to form the handle, with a sturdy blade.
This Douk-Douk features a 14C28N stainless steel Turkish blade beautifully decorated with arabesques.
The knife's handle is made of cold-rolled, chrome-on-nickel-treated folded steel with press-stamped emblem.
Ideal as a hunting, fishing or table knife.
The Douk-Douk is easy to carry in the pocket thanks to its ultra-thin format (7mm thick).
Available in 9 cm or 11 cm handles.
