Couteau breton Triskel
The quintessential sailor knife with a wooden handle decorated with the Breton Triskell.
Manufactured by a high-end cutlery company in Thiers, the capital of French cutlery.
Description
The traditional English sailor's folding knife that has infiltrated France over the centuries via the West Coast! An elegant model with a beautiful smooth tech wood handle and stainless steel ferrule.
Ideal for everyday use and for gutting fish in a jiffy when you're back from fishing!
Nicknamed the "London" in France, this marine knife features a strong "sheepsfoot" blade that widens towards the tip: folded forward for a straight edge on the object it's designed to cut, especially ropes. This type of blade was the only one permitted on board ships, as its round tip was less likely to cause serious injury in the event of a brawl.
