Inspired by the traditional costume of the Camargue gardians, this black divided skirt revisits an emblematic garment in a feminine version.

The gardianes are part of the history of the Camargue, even if their recognition is more recent than that of the traditional gardians. For a long time, the role of gardian was almost exclusively male. Yet as early as the beginning of the XXᵉ century, some local women were already riding horses and taking part in the work of the manades, often on family farms.
Today, gardianes are fully recognized in the Camargue world. They take part in bullfights, ferrades and traditional events, including the famous Feria d'Arles.
