Description
Manufactured by the historic Nontron factory, the oldest cutlery factory in France still in operation and a certified Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company), this knife is part of a tradition that has been perpetuated for several centuries.
Each knife is unique: all stages of production are carried out by the same craftsman, and each handle bears a pyrography, the company's historic signature, created by burning the wood. This traditional motif anchors the product in recognized craftsmanship
This light, easy-to-handle paring knife is designed for everyday use: peeling, slicing and dicing fruit, vegetables or meat with precision.
The handle is made of boxwood, an emblematic wood of the Périgord Vert region, used in cutlery since the end of the XVIIIᵉ century, and the blade is made of T5MoS stainless steel, renowned in cutlery for its cutting quality and ease of maintenance, ensuring a clean, even cut.
