The cover is made from 100% cotton, using the block print technique: each pattern is applied by hand using engraved wooden blocks, impregnated with natural pigments. Slight irregularities may appear from one piece to the next, a sign of the authenticity of the process rather than a defect. In this sense, each piece is unique.
