In the art of preserving clothes and leather, the brush remains the essential tool. A simple gesture that prolongs the life of textiles and revives the shine of leather.
Our selection favors natural bristles: hog bristles to remove dust from woollens, horsehair to shine leather without scratching it. Handles (in varnished or untreated wood, depending on the model) offer a comfortable grip.
For coats and suits, wide brushes effectively remove lint and dust. Smaller models, ideal for shoes, bring tired leather back to life. Regular brushing is better than occasional intensive cleaning.
Our advice: Adapt the firmness of bristles to the textile: soft bristles for cashmere and silk, firmer ones for tweed and cloth. For leather, always brush in the direction of the grain. A well-maintained brush (shaken after use, washed occasionally) will retain its effectiveness for years to come.
