Pendant Camargue cross, also called cross of Camargue, cross of the gardians or cross of the Saintes Maries de la Mer. Created in 1926 at the request of the Marquis de Baroncelli, it symbolizes the gardian nation by associating the gardians by the tridents at each end of the cross (Faith), the fishermen by the anchor (Hope) and the Holy Marys by the heart (Charity).
