Large forged nail Marinier 15 cm

Forged by the last French clouterie, based in Creil in the Oise region since 1888, this nail can be used for both purely professional and decorative purposes.

In addition to their picturesque, timeless aesthetic, forged nails are invaluable woodworking tools. They can be used to join different types of wood together to make doors, windows and other hinges and locks.

This 15 cm nail, with its blued finish and diamond head, will also find its place as a coat hook in the rough country spirit of yesteryear.

Use of forged nails:

- Use a nail 10 mm thicker than the sum of the thicknesses to be joined.

- Pre-drill the spot where the nail is to stand.

- Hammer in the nail, and fold back the remaining 10 mm of the nail shank.
