Bol à pied en inox
A shape inspired by the Brutalist movement, a robust, solid and uncompromising material, a color as austere as it is elegant... there's no doubt about it, this is a piece that brings with it all the chic severity of the 50s.
More than just a salad bowl, it's a gateway to an era when the art of entertaining was practiced in every home, from thatched cottage to chateau.
Description
Produced by an Italian manufacturer that has specialized in stainless steel flatware since the mid-20th century, this magnificent collection of salad bowls with base recalls the heyday of 1950s service.
And with good reason: it's a re-edition of a collection from the same period.
The brand has brought out a whole range with a matte effect, very much in vogue in post-war Europe, offering a warm, rustic look, but at the same time, the steel is stainless and dishwasher-safe.
In addition to its aesthetic appeal, this matte finish offers a further advantage in terms of ageing, as it is more resistant to scratches and makes stains invisible.
With a thickness of 1.2 mm, these utensils are sturdy and therefore durable, and their production is non-galvanic and non-polluting.
Choosing a stemmed salad bowl from this collection means making a choice where aesthetics and ethics go hand in hand.
