Double toggle switch in bakelite

A double toggle switch in black bakelite, flush-mounted: two small levers side by side to control two lights separately from the same point, for example the ceiling light and the wall light in a hallway.

Central body and levers in black bakelite, base in steatite (a ceramic) and brass mechanism with screw contacts. 10 A, 10 AX, 250 V AC, 7 cm across, for a standard flush box. Made in Germany by THPG.

Each toggle controls its own circuit as a one-way switch; this is not a two-way switch. The cover plate, round or square, in bakelite or duroplast, is sold separately. Wiring is done with the power off. The levers have a real click under the finger, the one switches had before the wide rocker.
