Double RJ45 black bakelite socket

This flush-mounted double RJ45 socket lets you plug two network cables in at the same point: a computer and a router, a television and a games console. It is made for renovated houses where you want a wired network without giving up old-style switches and sockets.

The round central body, 7 cm in diameter, is in black bakelite, the deep, glossy material of pre-war fittings. The two RJ45 ports are mounted on a metal plate with claws that fixes into a standard flush-mounting box. Made in Germany.

The finishing cover plate, round or square, is sold separately: it is the specific one for satellite sockets, RJ45 sockets and dimmers, to be chosen in the same shape as the other sockets in the room. A barely damp cloth is all it needs.
