Case of 6 snail forks
Due to new U.S. regulations, this item cannot be shipped to the United States.
Description
Six stainless steel snail forks in their screw-top wooden case. These are long, slender two-tined forks, made to reach the snail at the bottom of its shell without tearing it. They come out for Burgundy snails, and they also do the job for whelks and winkles.
Stainless steel for the forks, beech for the case, which unscrews in two to let the six pieces out. Made in France. The case stands upright in a drawer or on a shelf and saves hunting for the forks when it is time to serve.
Hold them between thumb and forefinger, with the shell held in snail tongs or a napkin, and turn gently while pulling. After the meal, wash by hand or in the dishwasher, then dry them before screwing the case shut again.
