Pétanque set

This wooden pétanque set is meant for children and impromptu games on the terrace or on the grass: six wooden boules half-lacquered in colour, a cochonnet (the small target ball), all stored in a plastic basket. Three colours, two boules per colour, enough to play with three players or in teams.

The boules are 65 mm in diameter, the size of a child's hand, and are made in France. The lacquer covers only half of each boule, the other half shows the wood. Colours are assigned at random from one set to the next.

Throw the cochonnet, then each player tries to land their boules as close to it as possible. Wood bounces less than steel and won't damage a tiled floor, so you can play in the hallway on rainy days. Don't leave the boules outside overnight, the wood swells. From age 2.
