Set of 6 Picardie dinner plates, Duralex - Vermeil

Since 1945, Duralex has been making tempered glass tableware in the north of France that has not aged a day. The Picardie range is its most recognisable expression: a soft curve, bevelled lines that catch the light, a silhouette both simple and instantly identifiable. These 23 cm dinner plates are a direct version of it, true to the spirit of the brand.

The transparent vermeil colour gives them a particular character. This amber shade, warm and slightly golden, transforms the table without effort: it goes just as well with a white tablecloth as with a bare wooden surface, and gives every meal a sense of occasion without forcing anything.

Tempered glass is an honest material: with no coating and no surface treatment, it does not hold odours, does not scratch easily and takes heavy daily use without complaint. These plates go in the dishwasher and the microwave, which makes them as practical as they are good-looking.
