Description

A flower whose name alone evokes smells, images, sounds and memories: planting lavender at home is like bringing Provence into your garden.

Easy to care for and undemanding, lavender seeds need only good exposure to the sun to grow.

Its fragrance, world-renowned for evoking the Alpilles and Provence, will enrich your garden with its bewitching, herbaceous notes.

Highly melliferous, lavender serves the ecology by enabling bees, among other insects, to find the nectar and pollen they need.

Once picked, lavender keeps very well as a dried bouquet or seeded in fabric bags to perfume your wardrobes and linen cupboards.

Sow between March and June.
