White ceramic oil cruet

The white ceramic oil cruet is a bottle with a square section, closed by a stainless steel pouring spout with its cap. It is for pouring olive oil in a thin stream, at the table or at the stove, without a drop on the tablecloth.

It comes in two sizes, 300 ml and 500 ml. The glazed ceramic body is opaque: the oil stays out of the light, which protects it better than a clear glass bottle. The stainless spout comes off for filling. Made in Germany.

Rinse the spout in hot water now and then so the oil does not set in it, and close the cap after use to keep dust out. The body goes in the dishwasher. The same model also makes a vinegar cruet, provided you keep a separate bottle for it.
