E27 aluminium threaded lampholder with ring

An E27 aluminium threaded socket, with a screw-on ring to hold a lampshade or a cup. It is fitted at the end of a cable for a pendant light, or to replace the worn socket of a lamp.

Aluminium body, cable grip at the top, two knurled rings: one locks the cable, the other screws onto the body at the height you want to hold the shade. It takes all E27 screw-base bulbs, the most common format. Several colours are available to match the cable and the light fitting.

Fit it with the power off: strip the cable, connect the two wires to the terminals, tighten the cable grip, then screw the body back on. With a bare bulb, choose a decorative filament bulb. A dry cloth is all it needs.
