Kriska chain curtain

A door curtain in aluminium chains, 90 cm wide by 210 cm high, made up of 70 strands with close links. It hangs in the frame of an open door to let air and light through and keep flies out; indoors, it separates two rooms without closing them off.

Chains in anodised aluminium, a treatment that protects the metal in sun and rain alike: it does not rust and does not fade. Made in Spain by Kriskadecor, a house from Montblanc, in Catalonia, which has made chain curtains since 1926.

It fixes to the top of the door frame; you walk through the chains in one movement and they fall back by themselves. Clean with soapy water and a soft sponge, then rinse; no abrasives, which would scratch the anodising.
