Bialetti Moka handle

This Bialetti Moka handle replaces a broken or melted handle on a Moka Express stovetop coffee maker. Choose it by the capacity of the pot: 1-2 cups, 3-4 cups, 6 cups or 9-12 cups; the sizes are not interchangeable.

It is in black thermoplastic, like the original handle, with the fixing tab that slots onto the body of the pot.

Fitting is done with the screw from the old handle: unscrew, put the new one in place, tighten without forcing. A handle melts when the flame spreads past the base of the pot; set the burner smaller than the diameter of the base.

The Moka Express can be repaired part by part: handle, gasket, filter, funnel. That is why people keep one for decades.
