Of unclear origin, backgammon, would have millennia of existence until becoming today the king of the table games.

Historians and archaeologists have traced the origin of these games to about 5,000 years ago, but the rules have evolved over the millennia with technical progress and the meeting of cultures. This long history, repeated all over the world, makes backgammon one of the most universal games.
