Description
This glass apple grater is for making raw apple purée, apple grated very fine for a baby starting on solids, or a pear or banana purée. Rub the fruit over the studs and the pulp collects in the channel around the grater.
It is all glass, moulded in one piece, 18 cm long, 9 cm wide and 3 cm tall, with a bed of studs in the middle and grooves along the edges. Glass holds neither smell nor taste and does not react with the acidity of fruit.
Peel the apple, cut it in half and rub it over the studs in short strokes, keeping the grater flat. The flesh browns quickly: serve it straight away or add a few drops of lemon. The grater goes in the dishwasher. Store it away from knocks; it is glass.
