Bécassine figurine
Description
The Bécassine figurine is the little Breton comic-strip heroine in pocket size: white coif, green jacket, white apron, and that round nose on a face without a mouth that makes her recognisable among all others. She comes here in five versions, each in a scene from her everyday life.
The five models: Bécassine with her bouquet of flowers, Bécassine with her suitcase and umbrella, Bécassine and her cockerel, Bécassine coming back from the market with her basket, and Bécassine under her red umbrella. Painted figurines 8 cm tall, which stand up on their own.
Set them in a child's bedroom or in a display cabinet, singly or in a procession, and dust them with a paintbrush. Born in 1905 in La Semaine de Suzette, Bécassine is one of the first heroines of French comics.
