Maianenco yellow fabric by the metre

Maianenco yellow takes the Provençal design of the Maianenco red and sets it on a buttercup yellow ground: bouquets of dark roses and little blue flowers in white medallions, on a scattering of small brown dots. As a tablecloth, cupboard curtains or tea towels, the yellow brightens a room.

100% cotton fabric, 152 cm wide, sold by the metre in one-metre lengths across the full width. This width lets you cut a tablecloth or a cushion cover without a seam; for large tables, take two or three metres.

Printed cotton machine washes at 30 or 40 °C; a first wash before cutting avoids any shrinkage surprises. When ironing, keep the iron on the reverse to preserve the brightness of the yellow. Over the years the fabric softens without the colours fading.
