Unpainted cyclist

This unpainted miniature cyclist is a figurine of a racer in sprint position, hands on the drops, like those from the little Tour de France cycling games moved along with a dice. It comes raw, metal-coloured, to paint yourself or leave as it is.

The figurine is cast in zamak, a zinc alloy that renders detail well and has some weight in the hand. It measures 5 cm long, 4.2 cm high and 1.2 cm wide, and stands on two small bases under the wheels. Made in France, in small runs.

To paint it, degrease it in soapy water, apply a primer, then the colours with a fine brush. It can then be used to replay stages on a track drawn in chalk, or set on a shelf. Small, hard parts: not for toddlers.
