Children's work gloves

Work and gardening gloves sized for children's hands, so they can join in when you are digging, picking up branches or screwing down a board. They have the cut of adult work gloves, with an elasticated wrist and a canvas cuff so they can pull them on by themselves.

The palm and fingertips are in leather, the back in striped canvas: 60% leather and 40% polyester. They are part of the Kids in the Garden collection by Esschert Design, the Dutch maker of garden tools and objects, whose children's range reproduces real tools in small sizes.

The leather protects from splinters and nettles, the canvas lets the hand breathe. If they get wet, let them dry in the open air, away from radiators, so the leather does not stiffen. Sold by the pair.
