Ring Camargue Cross in gilt

This ring represents the Cross of Camargue, also called Cross of the gardians or Cross of the Holy Maries of the Sea. It was created in 1926 at the request of the Marquis de Baroncelli. Every May 25, the Feast of the Three Marys, the Guardians carry the relics of St. Mary Jacobe and St. Mary Salome on horseback to the sea with their Camargue Cross.

Description

This ring represents the Cross of Camargue, also called Cross of the gardians or Cross of the Holy Maries of the Sea. It was created in 1926 at the request of the Marquis de Baroncelli. Every May 25, the Feast of the Three Marys, the Guardians carry the relics of St. Mary Jacobe and St. Mary Salome on horseback to the sea with their Camargue Cross.

The ring is made in a wide format reminiscent of traditional signet rings.

This vermeil piece shines with a beautiful golden colour and pairs easily with more ornate rings. It completes a vermeil set available on our site with the bracelet.

Vermeil is an alloy of silver and gold, aesthetically close to gold, which resists wear well over time.
