Vacu Vin wine stoppers

These two Vacu-vin replacement stoppers are used with the vacuum pump of the same brand. Slip one into the neck of the opened bottle, pump, and the air is drawn out. The wine oxidises more slowly and keeps several days longer than with the original cork.

The set contains 2 black stoppers, universal, compatible with all pumps from Vacu Vin, the Dutch brand from Delft that has offered this system since 1986. The pump is not included: this set replaces lost or tired stoppers, or lets you seal several bottles at once.

Once the vacuum is made, the stopper gives a small click, and the bottle can be stored upright. The stoppers are dishwasher safe. They are not suitable for sparkling wines, which need the brand's champagne stopper.
