The Huntsman string puppet

The Huntsman is the third character in the Little Red Riding Hood string puppet series, the one who arrives at the end to rescue the grandmother. Green feathered hat, green felt jacket, big brown moustache, curly hair and a wooden rifle slung over the shoulder: everything you need for the final scene.

He is handmade in the Czech Republic, with a painted turned wooden head, felt clothes, and hair and moustache made of wool yarn. Height 22.5 cm, strings of 20 cm. The wooden hands weight the arms so that the gestures fall naturally.

With Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf, you have everything to stage the whole tale; a board laid across two chairs makes a stage. Store the puppet hanging up, strings taut. Dust the felt by hand, without water.
