Camargue scarf
Description
The Camargue scarf is a checked merino wool scarf, woven by Brun de Vian-Tiran in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, in the Vaucluse. It is worn every day, by men or women, and keeps you warm without weighing on the neck.
It is woven in 100% Mérinos d'Arles Antique wool, a fibre the mill brought back into production with the region's breeders and presents as the finest wool in Europe. Long and narrow, 200 cm by 33 cm, with fringed ends. Made in France.
Wear it knotted or draped over the shoulders. Keep it out of the washing machine: the mill recommends dry cleaning. In summer, store it folded, away from moths.
Brun de Vian-Tiran has been working wool in the same place since 1808; the mill holds the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label.
