Belt and tie holder

A belt and tie holder that hangs from the wardrobe rail, like a coat hanger. Belts hook on by their buckle, ties slip over the top, and everything stays in view instead of piling up at the bottom of a drawer.

The body is turned pale wood, with a hanging hook and chrome-plated metal hooks along the bottom. It is an accessory from Perigot, the Paris maker of practical objects for the wardrobe and housekeeping.

Hang it with the coat hangers, or on a peg behind a door. The wood wipes clean with a dry cloth; keep it out of damp rooms so it does not warp. It also holds thin scarves and suspenders.
