Olive oil soap 40 g

A small 40 g Marseille soap with olive oil, in a cardboard box printed with an engraving of the workshop. It is the travel and guest-bathroom size: the same recipe as the big cube, in a version that fits in a pocket or a wash bag.

It is made by Marius Fabre in Salon-de-Provence, a family soap works since 1900, cooked in a cauldron the Marseille way. The olive-green soap is stamped "72% extra", made from olive oil and copra oil, with no fragrance, colouring or preservative, and no palm oil.

Use it for hands, body or face, including on skin that does not tolerate scented soaps well. Between uses, let it air-dry: a Marseille soap kept dry lasts a long time, even at 40 g.
