Pelton glue band

A ready-to-use Pelton glue band, 5 m long, to wrap in a ring around the trunks of fruit and ornamental trees to block crawling insects: ants that farm aphids, caterpillars and other creatures climbing up towards the branches.

Pelton glue is a tree-banding glue, the same as the one sold in tubs, here already spread on a band that you unroll and fix in place. It does not dry: insects that try to cross it get stuck. 5 m of band, enough to ring several trunks.

To fit it, brush the bark, wrap the band around the trunk with the glue facing outwards, and check that no grass or stake forms a bridge. Put it on in autumn against caterpillars and in spring against ants, and replace it once it is covered.
