Multi-thread braid, bright colours

The multifilament braid is the little stock of sewing thread you slip into a handbag, a travel kit or a kitchen drawer. Twelve colours braided together: pull out the strand you need to sew a button back on or take up a hem.

The threads are polyester, a strong thread that does not shrink in the wash and suits everyday fabrics. The braid is 50 cm long, enough to cover most small repairs. It is made in France by Bohin, the needle and pin manufacturer.

To take a thread, hold the braid in one hand and gently pull a strand from the frayed end: it comes out without tangling the others.

This one is the bright shades: red, blues, yellow, pink, orange, purple, enough to match children's clothes.
