Porcelain snail shell
Due to new U.S. regulations, this item cannot be shipped to the United States.
Description
The porcelain snail shell replaces the natural shell for serving snails in parsley butter: fill it, put it in the oven, set it on the dimpled snail dish. It is sold individually.
It is in white porcelain, moulded in the shape of a real shell, whorls included, with a wide opening that makes filling easier. It is made in France and goes in the oven.
Put in a knob of butter, then the snail, then seal with well-packed parsley butter before putting it in a hot oven until the butter foams. After the meal, dishwasher or hot soapy water; porcelain holds on to neither garlic nor grease.
It is the accessory of the festive season, brought out every winter along with the dish and the tongs.
