Traditional clothing is, above all, clothing designed to be worn, to work in and to last. Born of trade outfits, sailors' garments and regional costumes, these models were shaped by the practices and know-how of generations of workers.

At Maison Empereur, we carry this heritage on through pieces with authentic cuts and materials: work jackets in sturdy canvas, smocks inspired by fishermen's garb, pea coats and woollen sailor's jumpers, gardian shirts and work trousers.
