Wall-mounted bottle opener, practical to install behind the bar or in the kitchen to easily open and serve glass bottles closed with crown caps.

A stainless steel wall mounted bottle opener, to screw behind the bar, under the worktop or on the upright of a shelf. Once fixed, it no longer gets lost at the bottom of a drawer: wedge the crown cap under the lip, press down, and the other hand stays free to hold the bottle.

It is in 18/8 stainless steel, stamped BOJ, made in Eibar, in the Spanish Basque Country, by a firm that has made corkscrews and bottle openers since 1905. The plate has three fixing holes; screws are not supplied.

Fix it at hand height, leaving room below for the bottle, with a small cap catcher if needed. 18/8 stainless steel does not rust and wipes clean with a cloth. It is the model from café counters, which opens thousands of bottles without wearing out.
