The stereoscopic maps are photographs in relief very popular at the end of the nineteenth and early twentieth century. They are 2 photographs made by two optical sensors taking the same scene from two distant viewpoints. The two photographs looked at simultaneously deceive the human brain which reconstitutes the scene in only one sight in relief.
