Plate Brasserie decoration

This plate was created in the 1920s for the Parisian restaurant Grande Brasserie Nationale which was located at 33 rue de la République. This restaurant owner wanted to have his menus on his dishes for the comfort of his customers.

The tableware retains the original menu with the prices of the 1920s!

Three firings at very high temperatures are necessary to make this plate impervious to scratching or wear.
